Dewdrop Inn
Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 8:57AM Note the very thin area that is in focus. A band about one-half inch thick going from left-to-right. Three dewdrops in focus, everything else is blurry.
This "narrow depth of field" draws the viewer to the primary subject - the dewdrops.
Use this technique in portraiture by focusing your lens on the subject's eyes.
One shot HDR made with a Nikon D3s and a Nikon 105 VR macro lens.
